WHO WE ARE
Established in 2024, the Sarawak Institute of Arbitration and Dispute Resolution (SiADR) is a non-profit, non-governmental institution dedicated to advancing and fostering the practice of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in Sarawak and beyond. We strive to create an environment that encourages fellowship, professional development, and the exchange of knowledge among ADR practitioners.
SiADR serves as a forum for ADR practitioners to connect, share experiences, and work towards the effective cooperation and uniformity of ADR practices in Sarawak. We offer various membership categories, including Ordinary Members, Associate Members, Honorary Members, and Fellows, each with its own set of benefits and opportunities for engagement.
Supervision & Guidance
We provide supervision, guidance, and control over ADR practices through our members, ensuring that standards are maintained and upheld. Our proficiency grading and endorsement systems are recognized both in Sarawak and internationally, offering a benchmark for excellence in the field.
Development & Exchange Programmes
SiADR is a platform for continuous learning and professional development. We organize meetings, lectures, classes, exhibitions, seminars, and conferences aimed at improving ADR practices and educating the public about the various forms of ADR available. These programs are designed to enhance knowledge, foster innovation, and promote best practices within the industry.
Articles & Publications
To support the advancement of ADR, the SiADR is establishing a library that will serve as a valuable resource for members and the broader community. We also publish, promote, and sponsor literature that contributes to the growth and understanding of the ADR profession.
